Between fly maggots, carcasses, and entrails, Pharmakon resurrects like a phoenix from the ashes. The New Yorker is viewed as one of the most innovative female noise acts. Noise that sweats, wheezes, screams, and overrides. Chains rattle, sirens howl. A distorted soundscape and dizzying vocals set a dystopian scenario of negation. Wedged between post-industrial and harsh noise, Margaret Chardier aka Pharmakon goes her own path, using the macho genre to attack the audience with concentrated aggression, live and in the face.
