female:pressure – Die Vorspielservice
Well, finally! “Plattenspieler”, Thomas Meineke, Klaus Walter and Frank Witzel’s smart, but unfortunately all-male talky book on German music socialisation, will at this year’s donaufestival become “Die Vorspielservice”. Austrian music socialisation from a female perspective – service included!
Because the five participants from Electric Indigo’s deservedly legendary female:pressure network – Electric Indigo herself, DJ Amina Hanke, label owner and producer irradiation and music collagist Roz – will not only play vinyl at this interactive record show-fair, but also comment live on the records from their private collections and, for a little extra, flog them to the audience.
