Film Networks: Music Videos Wavelength 10 / Onscreen

onedotzero, the oldest and biggest London-based international digital film festival, has been touring annually in more than 60 cities around the world since the mid-90s. This year, the festival will for the first time present two of its visionary programmes in Krems. As part of wavelength 10, onedotzero will show its selection of pioneering music videos which not only visually break the mould. Presented will be the latest works of acclaimed directors and funny low-fi video clips by emerging, young talents, such as Edouard Salier’s SPLITTING THE ATOMS for Massive Attack and THE JOHNNY CASH PROJECT by Chris Milks/Aaron Koblins, a unique, crowdsourcing-based video project. The music video programme will be complemented by select musical works from onscreen, the division for avant-garde experiments of onedotzero. Highlights will include Max Hattler’s sound-driven animation, 1925 AKA HELL, the most recent collaboration of d-fuse and the electronic musician hauschka as well as the special screening, BIRD 1, a work of Dylan Kendle inspired by the latest Underworld track. Both programmes allow the audience to come and go whenever they want.
