L-Vis 1990
L-Vis 1990 is the “nom de plume” of up-and-coming video artist, DJ and promoter James Conolly, whose club hit “United Groove” was released on Diplo’s Mad Decent label. Two years ago he started the London club night, “Night Slugs”, together with Bok Bok, where people like Crazy, Cousinz, Cooly G, Ikonika or Joy Orbison would hang out on a regular basis. Since 2009, he has been running the same-named record label, which last year brought some italo-disco, pop appeal and juke to UK bass music.
