Ladytron
“They only want you when you're 17, when you're 21 you're no fun,” as Ladytron self-ironically and laconically proclaimed on their biggest hit from 2002. Clinical artificiality never sounded so glamorous. After the cultishly worshipped neo-new-wavers, who survived the rise and fall of the “electroclash” hype unscathed, had gone a bit quiet in recent years, the four Liverpudlians now return with a compilation album – “Best of 00-10” and the remix EP “Ace of Hz”. Their fifth studio album is scheduled for release in summer 2011 – we can expect to be treated to an exclusive, acoustic preview!
