Tim Hecker
After his releases on labels Mille Plateaux, Fat Cat, Alien8, Staalplaat and Force Inc., Canadian drone-musician and “structured ambient” producer Tim Hecker has, two years after the release of his last album “An Imaginary Country”, released a new album with the bold and intriguing title “Ravedeath” on label Kranky, considerably expanding his sound palette. Consequently, it only makes sense that he will present his latest sound-child in a Protestant church: an electronic organ project.
