The Spanish DJ and producer Silvia Jiménez Alvarez, alias JASSS, found success as a resident in avant-garde Berlin clubs such as OHM or Säule. In March 2020 she released the grandiose rave anthem Turbo Olé. Her second solo album A World of Service now combines dance-floor-ready techno with tooting and lurching noise compositions, which she layers with the most beautiful and versatile vocals; some elements are reminiscent of Arca, others of Nine Inch Nails. Her performance at donaufestival was developed in collaboration with multimedia artist Ben Kreukniet, who has also worked with Massive Attack.
