Gloria Amesbauer works as a singer and bassist, as a producer and tattoo artist; under the name GLAM she performs electronic-experimental drama-pop. Her solo debut two months / years was just released recently. On it, she tells a story of reappropriation, a story of reclaiming one’s own body from its conditioning by culture and society. And also: of reclaiming the concept of romance from the distorting ascriptions of heteronormativity. GLAM works with multiplied and manipulated voices, a proliferation and dissemination of the self in which it rises again, all the more composed and concentrated.
