ART & INSTALLATION
The sound installation For the moment and for the record demonstrates how resonance is activated and bodies are “tuned.” As a swinging pendulum brushes the strings of an electric guitar, the moments of contact and the sounds they generate send the impulse back to the pendulum. The frequencies of the amplified guitar keep the pendulum swinging. The conversion of the analogue guitar signal into a digital one creates an independent, self-sustaining circuit.
