“Nature” in Western sciences is often viewed as something “wild” that must be tamed, something that is opposed to culture. In this workshop, we will explore how we can challenge this understanding. Inspired by Jeffrey Jerome Cohen’s Prismatic Ecology – Ecotheory beyond the Green (2013), we will collect, arrange, and meditate over the toxic beauty of a multi- coloured trash rainbow that can be found in our everyday objects and surroundings.
