We, as a team, are a part of our festival just like the artists and the audience.Only together can we create an atmosphere of inclusion and tolerance. A considerate and respectful attitude is important, so that everyone has a positive festival experience.
Therefore, we reject all forms of discrimination, based on ascribed origin, ethnicity, gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, physical appearance, age, religious affiliation, socioeconomic status, and the like.
Verbally or physically abusive behaviour of any kind has no place at donaufestival: be it inappropriate remarks, racist or sexist insults, slander and intimidation, or non-consensual physical contact and violence.
Personal boundaries are to be respected. In the case of a transgression, we will trust the afflicted person and handle the situation seriously. We will take their needs into account and investigate the matter.
In the event of aggressive or discriminatory behaviour, we reserve the right to exclude the person from the event in keeping with our house rules.
As a special offer to you, there is now an Awareness Team on the festival grounds. If you find yourself in an uncomfortable situation or in need of a place to retreat during the festival, please contact the AwA* Awareness Team. You will find the team at the Awareness Info Point in the Minorite Church, and in Hall 2 at Messegelände, as well as underway on the festival grounds. The Awareness Team can be identified by their IDs and neon yellow buttons. Members of our team or the security personnel with a neon yellow button can also help and tell you exactly where you can find the Awarebess Team.
