Mit spielerischer Dämonie erwecken The New Eves den Eindruck, als seien sie direkt einem verschollenen britischen Folk-Mythos entsprungen, dessen gängiges Genre-Spektrum das Quartett aus Brighton ins windschief Psychedelische oder auch archaisch- Postpunkige dreht. Mehrstimmige (Sprech-) Gesänge bestürmen die konservativen Vorstellungen von Weiblichkeit seit Adam und Eva.
