Online tickets can be paid for by credit card (MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club, Visa, JCB), online bank transfer (EPS), Paypal or NÖKU Tickets voucher.
At the ticket office, payments can be made by cash, debit / credit card or NÖKU voucher. -
- 10% discount: Ö1 Club members, DER STANDARD subscribers, customers of the HYPO NOE Group, Raiffeisen account holders (incl. Raiffeisen Club members), members of the Friends of the Kunstmeile Krems association, the St. Pölten Cultural District association, civil and military servants, students and employees of partner universities (UWK, IMC Krems, Karl Landsteiner Private University), senior citizens (aged 60 and over).
At the 10% discount level, 2 discounted tickets are possible per discount card.
- 30% discount: People under the age of 27 (only applicable to individual day passes, does not apply to ticket packages)
- Receive a 50% discount: People with disabilities. Accompanying persons listed on the disabled pass receive free admission.
We recommend that people in wheelchairs buy their tickets at the ticket office or by telephone, as we can provide information about the different venues straight away.
- 100 % discount: Visitors with a Kulturpass (subject to availability and pre-booking). Attention: Ticket contingent very limited.
Discounts only apply in advance. We charge €50 (Friday, Saturday) and €39 (Sunday) per day pass at the box office. Tickets can still be purchased online during the festival.
Discounted tickets will only be issued on presentation of the discount authorisation. We kindly ask you to show your discount authorisation when collecting your festival wristband at the ticket office or at the entrance control! If the discount authorisation cannot be presented, the respective surcharge will be charged at the box office.

It is not possible to purchase tickets for individual acts. A day ticket must be purchased for this.
ATTENTION: For some performances with limited capacity, additional free counting tickets must be reserved online. You can reserve tickets here from 16 April.

In addition to the day passes, we also offer discounted price packages with freely combinable festival days. A price table with discount levels depending on the number of festival days can be found here. In addition to the discount in the price package, you can also choose your valid 10% discount.
These price packages can be booked at the ticket office or in the webshop under the "Packages" tab.
Please note: The selection of days made when purchasing the price package is binding and cannot be changed at a later date. Once individual tickets have been booked, it is also not possible to change the package price.

With this dispatch option, the tickets/vouchers are sent as a PDF attachment by e-mail. If you use the Wallet app on your smartphone, these tickets can also be saved in the Wallet app.
e-tickets/e-vouchers can be printed out or brought along on the smartphone.

If you would like your tickets to be sent by post, please contact our ticket office. We charge €3 for standard delivery or €6 for registered delivery.

Tickets can be printed out or presented digitally when entering the event.

Our vouchers can be purchased in different denominations (€ 10, € 20 or € 50) and in any amount via our webshop or at the ticket office. They are valid indefinitely and can also be redeemed at other NÖKU event organisers.

The donaufestival takes place in Krems an der Donau at two main locations:
The Klangraum Krems Minoritenkirche will host concerts in the afternoon until the early evening, followed by the rest of the programme at the exhibition grounds (next to the city park). On the two Sundays, the programme ends with three highlight concerts in the Minoritenkirche.
The walk between the two main venues takes about 15 minutes.

We recommend travelling by train. For the departure we offer bus transfers to Vienna.

We offer a bus transfer on all festival days, 15 minutes after the end of the last concert from Krems (bus stop Stadtpark) to Vienna (Karlsplatz / Künstlerhaus). Please note: On both festival Sundays, the bus departs 15 minutes after the end of the concert, in front of the Kunsthalle Krems, Museumsplatz.
Bus ticket: € 12,- (only available in advance)
There is no shuttle service between the two main venues. The walk between the two venues takes approx. 15 minutes. -
Exchange your ticket or booking confirmation for a festival wristband on festival days either from 10:00 - 19:00 at the Klangraum Krems Minoritenkirche, Minoritenplatz 5, 3500 Krems/Stein or from 12:00 until the start of the last concert at the ticket container at the festival grounds at Messegelände, Utzstraße 12, 3500 Krems.
No wristbands will be issued at all other venues. Admission to the events only with a valid festival wristband.

Yes, there will be food and drinks from various caterers at both main festival locations. The offer also includes vegetarian and vegan dishes. In addition, we offer free drinking water at the main locations.

Due to limited capacity, we recommend reserving tickets to secure access to certain performances. We want to avoid visitors having to queue for a long time and ultimately not getting a seat.
It is possible to reserve tickets for the performances by Sylvia Eckerman and Gerald Nestler, Eve Stainton, Eglė Budvytytė and Marija Olšauskaitė, Studio Julian Hetzel and Ntando Cele as well as Josuha Serafin.
How and when?
Online reservation is possible from Tue, 16 April, 10 am.
Tickets can be collected at the box office from the 1st day of the respective festival weekend. Please collect your tickets up to 30 minutes before the start of the performance. Reservations not collected by this time will be forfeited. Requests for remaining seats can be made from 20 minutes before the start of the performance at the respective venue. No late admission after the start of the performance.
For all other events, the principle of "first come, first served!" applies.

For technical reasons, day passes and free counting tickets cannot be booked online in one step. We therefore ask you to book the counting tickets in a separate step.

Yes, all valid festival tickets (2024) from NÖ Festival und Kino GmbH entitle you to one free entry to the Kunsthalle Krems, Landesgalerie NÖ, Forum Frohner and Karikaturmuseum Krems in 2024.
