Initiated by curator Mariana Berezovska, the Rybachka project is intended as a response to the war in Ukraine. It brings together artists from various disciplines to practise resilience and create speculative folklore. At donaufestival, the Syrian-Ukrainian artist Diana Azzuz, operating at the interface of video, sound, and AI-generated images, collaborates with the Iranian artist Nazanin Noori, who combines modular synthesizers with singing, improvisation, and performance.
