“Community of Aliens”: No other act epitomises the motto of this year’s donaufestival like Dopplereffekt. For three decades, the Detroit-based project has been working on the future of electronic music, on the synthesis of machines and humans, on the artistic transgression of what we used to call human nature.
Their latest work Neurotelepathy plunges us into a world of cerebral entanglements where there is no difference between brain waves and data streams. In this domain, we have all become telepaths, and when we sleep, we dream of electric sheep.
