Founded in 2015, OPERANT emerged from the crossover Industrial scene that tore through Berlin at their inception and have since ceaselessly transgressed every sound and genre barrier they have encountered. OPERANT make abrasive, high energy tracks, doom-laden, euphoric, spiritual expungement.
 

The Berlin duo Operant navigates the forbidding, claustrophobic grey territory between industrial, techno, noise, and breaks. The singularity of their work lies in its confrontational directness: using raw textures, harsh rhythms, and distorted voices, they unleash a maelstrom whose cathartic intensity sweeps everything away. The dividing lines between body and machine, pain and euphoria, tangible collision and spiritual release dissolve with merciless rigour.
