Deep bellows on a massive baritone saxophone accompanied, propelled, and sent astray by the raucous noise of a drum kit corrupted with grainy guitar distortion – that’s a possible take on the artistic concept of Joe Henwood and Tash Keary, who play their music under the easy-to-remember name O. And this concept is invincible, especially live. At this year’s donaufestival, O. will present their album debut WeirdOs, along with their latest single Green Shirt, a song about drummer Tash’s favourite shirt that was recently shredded by a hound dog.
