The duo Yellow Swans from Portland, Oregon, deliver untethered, nerve-racking, ear-shredding noise. Around the turn of the millennium, Pete Swanson and Gabriel Mindel Saloman began thrilling audiences with their raging bass vibrations, convulsive spiralling whines and loops, and spiky lobe-mining feedback that floored listeners while uplifting their spirits. The Yellow Swans were instrumental in the burgeoning industrial noise scene of the noughties; after a fifteen- year break, they’re back on stage.
