FRANKIE & Kelman Duran

Kelman Duran, renowned exponent of abstract club music and part of the production team behind Beyoncé’s Renaissance, meets composer and vocalist Franziska Aigner, who often appears in performance / art context – for example, with Anne Imhof. The clash turns out to be a finely calibrated process of negotiation: Duran’s electronica creates spaces that FRANKIE conquers with floating harmonies and calculated breaks. We witness a duo as it opens up new zones of friction and convergence.
